G`DAY MATES !

I am cheerful.

Of course my EK is more cheerful.

I kept silence for a long time for a long time.

My disease does not recover completely.

But I am very happy.

Because the reason is because I own EK.

My family is happy, too.

I disintegrated, and the motor of my EK was got ready the year before last.

I run EK every day.

Japan is cold winter, but EK is peak form.

Some my heads recovered.

Therefore I arranged a photograph of the resolution maintenance of my EK.

Please look by all means.

Thank you from now on!

Thank you for STREET NEAT ANDY which cooperated with the supply of the parts.

Cheers!!!

Theirs a old horror movie (I'm guessing mid 80s) from memory, has a bloke in a house, and possibly a woman. All i remember is the ending, where he ends up in a time travel black hole or something, and ends up in dinosaur time, with a chainsaw and a shotgun.
can anyone please shed some light on the title? been goggling for hours

Friday nite, time for a pic....

Earning some Brownie points with the cook

Earning some Brownie points with the cook

Our wedding anniversary is rapidly approaching. How about this for a prezzie for the cook? Do you reckon she will be knocked out by it? Speaks class to me. The pic on the left, of course, not that nasty one on the right. I reckon I'm a Monty for Anniversary Bonkers. (Nudge, Nudge..say no more!

What a joker!

KEL and another post gone into the void

I posted a response re the HK T G Rubbers. Cant see it anywhere. I didn't think it was abusive or had any reason to be voided, the nuts and guts was this.
Each time I put items up at MY price i get no takers. SO i asked ur opinionsssssss to offer them at a fair price. However,in my opinion the parts are easily worth 300 and I NEED- not WANT the money.

AS NO ONE had said "I'll pay $X?" or made an offer, I decided to give you all the opportunity to make an offer OF YOUR PRICE, which realistically is a blind or secret auction.

instead of taking up the opportunity, it appears, by the evidence in my email account, that you chose to drop the bottom lip instead. NOT MY FAULT.

Anyone see top gear tonight?

A red mini with 1.5T of rocket boost hanging out the boot, on skis, down a ski jump - PMSL. Brilliant stuff!

Engine Lifting Crane for the big job and big shed

This caught my eye http://cgi.ebay.com.... but looks a bit large and cumbersome for my shed.

Monaro carcass forum

Couldn't help commenting on the Monaro carcass that scrolled across at the top of the page. Check out the Q & A's - looks like they've started their own forum (look for the question about whether its a 'smokers car')

I am just gunna spew.........

If i see one more add on eBay where the seller claims it is RARE i am gunna spew!

When will they learn that just because you incorporate that word RARE into your description it doesn't mean that it really is, it won't generate any interest as we all see through the dribble...........

RARE, I'll tell you what RARE is, this is a West Indian cricket win.

...The Batmobile.
Yes, that's me, as the date says about '87-'88.
I look absolutely nothing like that now. Remember it was the '80's, the decade that fashion forgot...

Not So Clever

Not So Clever

Thought I would like to take one of the old girls (cars) out for a cruise this weekend. Seen I am building onto the garage I currently have a huge sandpit in the backyard. Thought I would be clever and run the Commodore up and down the sand to help pack it down. Not such a good idea. Got bogged in my own backyard. LOL.
Wish I had taken a photo of the Commodore bogged, not going to do it again for a photo though.
Looks like I will be staying home this weekend. :(

Cheers

starting friday funnies

Kevin Rudd was visiting a primary school and he visited one of the
classes. They were in the middle of a discussion related to words and
their meanings. The teacher asked Kevin, the saviour of 'working families', if he would like to lead the discussion on the word 'tragedy'.

So Kevin (the saviour of 'working families' ) asked the class for an example of a 'tragedy'.

A little boy stood up and offered: 'If my best friend, who lives on a
farm, is playing in the field & a tractor runs over him and kills him,
That would be a 'tragedy.'

No, said Kevin - that would be an accident.'

A little girl raised her hand: 'If a school bus carrying fifty children
drove over a cliff, killing everyone inside, that would be a tragedy'

Could one chop the inkages???

Hay there all,

just wondering, could one chop the gear linkages and make them shorter for a four speed box. And thus move the shifter up closer to the bell house helping it clear the bench seat in my HG???

Cool Sickers Found on or in Cars

Cool Sickers Found on or in Cars

This is a sticker that is on a quarter cover that came out of an old hz van, very appropriate mind you
What have you guys seen in the way of period correct stickers/decals that look neat.
Mook

So far Off Topic it got lost!!!

OK...time to ask the Brains Trust.
I watch way too much TV and pride myself in the ability to gleen as much "Usless info" from the Idiot box as I can :)
But I,m buggered if I can remember the name of a show I watched in the early 2000's.
I "thought" the lead character was played by the bloke from the Soppranos...perhaps not.
He drove a black Dodge or Plymouth muscle car and helped people with "problems"...bit like "the equaliser"
His fee was a million dollars OR you owed him a favor which he could/would call in at any time....any ideas.
Cheers Q-ball.

Pop Qwiz

Been a while since I did one of these...

1. HDT rally-cross car (LC Torana) had a part fitted in the boot that normaly rode in the front of the car. It wasnt the battery, what was it?

2. If you find an FX ute with a "rain gutter" over the front windscreen is it rare and who may the original owner of the ute been?

3. Could you purchace, from new, a HQ (of any modle) with an engine bigger that a 308 V8?

4. The Repco Around Australia Rally Commodores were (then) new VB's. Did they use V8 or Red 6 engines?

5. Where would you find a "Bunch of Bananas" inlet manifold?

6. You climb into your new EH Holden (fitted with many NASCO accessories) and start the engine, on the lower RHS of the dash is a small, flashing red light. What is this light warning of?
