for my wb statesman - i am going to send off the headlight reflectors to be re metalized and was wondering if anyone knows the process used on the exterior plastic badges - "caprice" and "series 2" as mine are faded and no longer have shine.
if vacuum metalizing is suitable ill send them off at the same time, just didnt want to have it done if it say peels off in months for example.
Does any body electrically minded have a diagram of the internals of the HEI module? It's only a curiosity as I've seen a number of these fail and every time it's due to poor earthing of the module to the engine block/chassis. I'm curious as to the path of failure caused by the poor earth.
Who would have thought Debbie could cause so many bloody problems. So we've had 250mm so far today, just a little bit of rain, but not as much as some, so here's to all the other Old Holden members out there, stay safe and hopefully dry.
I`ve picked up a 1999 Barina 1.4 Swing as a cheap runabout, and want to put new spark plugs in it.But there is no plug gap info under bonnet or in hand book.
Tried googling...but some sites say .7 up to 1.1 mm gap.
Could some kind soul enlighten me,please?
The plugs I`ve bought are NGK 7956 BKR5EK.

Hi, just trying to find out what would be the best roller rocker arm ratio would be best for a mild 304. I guess I need to start with finding out what the standard rocker ratio is first, so if someone could guide me in the correct direction to find out I can then decide what to go for. having said all that 1.65 seems the most common for aftermarket rockers, any comments would be appreciated.
