picked up a dismantled trailbike today, im assuming its a chinese joby, but cant find any info on it. googling kvmco keeps bringing up kymco scooters.
its about the size of a 125 motor, but its both kick and electric start
only number on headstock is *lb5pk8.....*
there is a barcode sticker on the engine, and the engine number is fti56fm1
its a proper road/trail type bike

I have some photos from the run. A few holdens up there, but mainly rods. As usual the National HOLDEN museum was fantastic and had a great display. Here are a few pics(my brother's FJ), i will have more in my shed. Note the Echuca motors GMH dealer sign.( If any of these pics are of your car,and yuo dont want them displayed, notify me and i will remove them)
Cheers

I was walking through a wrecking yard toady (Adelaide) and came across a early commodore, with a short holden v8 in it. four inch bore, oh is it a 308? look at the side of the block and it had 'HP' cast on the side of it. Had a look inside the car and there was a pair of big port/big valved heads equipped with double valve springs to go with it. My question is, does anyone know what this motor may have originally came out of? its painted blue but anyone could have done that. If an any one wants to know where it is i will tell them, it doesn't bother me.

Had my old Ford in the paper for sale today, I figured I would maybe get a call about it by monday if any calls at all. But by 7am I had 4 callers all wanting it sight unseen. I was blown away by this I just gave it to the first caller and if he stuffs me round ill call the 2nd guy back. He is coming in a hour so we wil see if he is FOS or genuine. Ive never had such a fight over one of my cars its usualy weeks before I find a buyer.
btw its a 1936 Ford with minor upgrades such as 302w and bigger brakes etc painted matt black. Very sad sale but im putting a new room in my house and needed a quick easy sale

Just got a set of triple SU 1-3/4" carbies organised with a manifold and a throttle linkage kit. Got all the extras like the fuel block & fittings, lines, air cleaners and all. But I need to setup some kind of choke system/linkage.
Looking to do an upgrade from the Holley.
Any ideas???
Cheers!

Not OH related but interesting to some anyway.
I took this trailer for it's initial Rego inspection the other day.
Fully opened out (as it is in this pic) it is JUST under 32 metres long from the front of the tray to the rear of the tray. Then, there's about ½ the length of the Prime Mover in front of that!
No, I didn't (and have NO desire to) tow it opened up...
It is a heavy trailer with a Tare Weight of about 13½ tonnes...
Fully closed, it has an ATM (Actual Towing Mass) rating of 44 tonnes. Fully open (like this) it can still carry 22 Tonnes unless the load is FULLY self supporting over it's entire length in which case the 44 tonnes applies.

I'm currently after a HEI Bosch V8 dizzy from a later 308 to suit my 253...
The better condition the more I'll pay obviously but otherwise I'm not too worried.
I'm in Tas though, so unless you're local I can pay for postage as well... Payment can be made through Direct Deposit/Paypal/pretty much anything else you use - let me know how much you want for it.
If you have the leads that'd be great as well.
Cheers,
Jag253.

Where do Perth OHers go when they need a panel sandblasted? I'm after somebody who's either in the Kwinana/Rockingham area or open on a Saturday.

Hey Guys,
Just wanting opinions, do you reckon GTS guards are worth there asking price?
Would be to go onto a HZ Tonner, being on a tight budget, would take a bit to be able to afford a decent set.
So just wanna know, what you'se think, worth it or go without?

Hey Guys,
As most of you would have seen or heard, on Sat 6th of March a hail storm hit Melbourne and did a huge amount of damage to housing, cars and industrial estates.
We also got hit with a huge amount of damage as it smashed through the roof at showwheels flooding our showroom and warehouse. The result is good for you now though, as we now have sets of Streeters to clear out at storm damaged prices.
PLEASE NOTE: THE WHEELS, CAPS AND NUTS ARE 100% NEW IN PERFECT CONDITION but the packaging cartons are destroyed so the wheels will be shipped out in miss match cartons. There is only limited amount of wheels effected though so you need to get in quick to take advantage of these cheap prices.
Sale is for the following STREETER wheels only:
