Just wanting opinions, do you reckon GTS guards are worth there asking price?

Would be to go onto a HZ Tonner, being on a tight budget, would take a bit to be able to afford a decent set.

So just wanna know, what you'se think, worth it or go without?

As most of you would have seen or heard, on Sat 6th of March a hail storm hit Melbourne and did a huge amount of damage to housing, cars and industrial estates.
We also got hit with a huge amount of damage as it smashed through the roof at showwheels flooding our showroom and warehouse. The result is good for you now though, as we now have sets of Streeters to clear out at storm damaged prices.

PLEASE NOTE: THE WHEELS, CAPS AND NUTS ARE 100% NEW IN PERFECT CONDITION but the packaging cartons are destroyed so the wheels will be shipped out in miss match cartons. There is only limited amount of wheels effected though so you need to get in quick to take advantage of these cheap prices.

Hi Guys,
I know it isn't exactly a really old car but I have a VS Calais with a metal hitting metal sound and i believe from basic diagnositcs it has something to do with cylinder number 4. I know it's not going to be necessarily cheap but has anyone rebuilt an Ecotec V6 or similar and can tell me how much it is to do. I have two choices, fix the car including everything that it needs for a road worthy or wreck it and purchase another car to get to work. either way i've only got $2500-$3000 to play with at the most. Any thoughts?

G'day guys I need some imfo on what to do for a starter motor for a 308 stroker fitted with the big chev 11 flywheel ? The standard Holden starter wont fit any more and was just wondering if any one here has solved the problem cheaply without going for an expensive custom starter ? Thanks Glenn

Anyone get any hail damage? My Brother just bought a nice new looking (used) navara for $30,000 odd and because my family couldn't get in contact with him when the hail came, there are lots of new tiny dents in the bonnent!

I'll try take a picture when the weather improves, as they are hard to see when wet and cloud cover.

Been on a bit of a trip over to NSW and as we always do when driving through Barmera and Berri we fall in love.

i have a few, the coolest is my drill, it was built by my mates dad many years ago, the only part that was brought was the 13mm chuck the rest was made from scrap

my favorite part is the conrods that hold the 2 upright bars together at perfect spacing, the flywheels as base plates is also a nice touch, the motor is a washing machine motor, the pulleys were cast by melting alumium cans in a tin with a oxy!

attached is a pic of my disk sander, it was also made by the same guy, it also has a washing maching motor, which drives a jag generator which has the disk mounted on the front, it also work fine

Anyone been to this event?
Looking for something to do over the break, is it worth the trip though?

i have a late 6 trimatic, hurst promatic, 2800 dominator, m90 supercharged 179, vac is of carb side of the blower.
i have slipping under acceleration in 2nd and 3rd,still shifts at the right load/rpm, oil is red, was running fine before for months with the blower but a week ago it started slipping in 2nd & 3rd, 1st is still good.
before pulling the box out for new clutches what else can cuase 2nd and 3rd to slip?
could it be as simple as a modulator or filter or sludge in the servo piston cover something?
