HI Everyone,

I need to change the sump gasket on my 202 (WB van) with the engine in car. How difficult is the job? I am no mechanic, just a learner, but I want to give it a crack myself

I couldn't find any old posts about this probably semi common task, I know you have to jack up the motor, but if someone could really spell the process out for me, I'd appreciate it alot

Gaday, I'm looking at putting my 202 on straight gas, if it's going to be beneficial. It currently is dual fuel, I was told when I brought the car that the head was already set up for LPG and ULP. Which I'm thinking is true judging how it's still running so well as I run gas all the time except the first and last km of each day. This is my everyday car. What I'm thinking of doing. Vk manifold and throttle body. Got a quote from ultimate gas conversions currum downs for 400 bux for a mixer to suit the vk gear, instillation and tune up. This would not be gas injection but just going straight through the vk manifold. Has anyone done this before? Is it going to be much different then the standard varijet and manifold? If anyone has a info or better ideas I would be keen on hearing them. Cheers

Gaday. I'm looking at a 202 black soon that has nothing bolted on. Is there a way of telling wether it was originally carb or injected? Thanks

hi just wondering what to do about the thread in the block were the head bolts to it, the thread has been stripped, wanting to know if its ok to use hilicoil or is there something better, that might hold more pressure???

I have a question for all those more familiar with the trimatic. I have modded mu WB to have a 202 with Eaton M90 off the side. along with this I had the trimatic done up (only thing I won't do myself, gotta know my limits) also torque converter with 2200 stall.

What is occurring is that I have no drive at all. Initially have reverse but then lose it. any ideas? I was thinking I don't have pressure or am losing it somehow but can't see how.

COuld it be a problem of the torque converter?

Or is it possible that because manifold is under pressure the modulator is not operating? If it was this though I would think I would get first but that's all.

Hey everyone,

a friend told me today that new laws have been passed in vic in regards to pit inspections for cars that have been out of rego for more than three months.

His understanding was that all vehicals having pit inspections now have to have internal panels inspected by camera for rust???? also that repairs to panels such as floors ( which i need to do) must have the full panel replaced if rusted not just one side??? If repairs are done they must be photographed for records at the pit.

Has anyone heard this stuff???
where can i find laws or guidelines. I dont'want to replace the floor in my ute and find its not legal or to have to do it again..
I also have to replace an internal panel of the cowl

i was wondering if the trimatic in wb one tonners was LH shift? as in the shifter linkage crosses over to the passenger side?

if this is the case, i am in need of this linkage. if anyone could help me out, that would be awesome. if this isnt the case, i guess ill have to make one!

Hello all.
Hopefully a reasonably easy question. Have a WB ute and changing the diff to disc brake rear. Have all relevant parts but unsure on what handbrake cables I will need. I know there in 3 pieces but unsure what parts to order, ie where ute to sedan meet.

i have a wb ute i want to get rid of free to good home but i am chasing inner guards for a hq and a hz 6cyl clutch mechanism half cable rat trap

this wb has been stripped no interior no motor etc has tailgate fairly straight body rust in lower firewall no rust in cowl panel font and rear window no panels left

I am looking at buying new mags for my HT Premier, to replace the Centerlines i currently have fitted. Most wheels i have looked at have several sizes of backspace.

I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to measure what backspace i need? Or can i measure the backspace of the current wheels and that will tell me what i need?
