Hi All ,I'm coming over to Aussie in April (Queensland) And was going to get the rubbers for the doors and tailgates on my wb Pano can anyone point me in a positive direction ,Phil's Rotarys north of Brisbane seem pritty cheap ,but are they any good .
Hi guys I've got a WB that is blowing air through the HVAC to foot as well as face when set to face only resulting in poor air pressure. Many years ago (about 17) I fixed a similar issue with a WB I had at the time but it's been too long to remember specific details. I do recall replacing one or more vacuum actuators (pods). I also recall there being 2 sizes of pods and it being a bit of a PIA to replace - not difficult but time consuming. Has anyone done this recently and if so was the pod size to activate face level air a large or small actuator (pod)?
Bought some new door seals for the ute got them on the right way going by instructions
but have to slam the doors so hard to shut them now ......
you'd think one wouldn't have to adjust the striker or am i wrong....

I'm in the process of going right through my fuel system and replacing all the rubber hoses.
While cleaning the fuel tank out I found a handful of components that look like they may have come from a fuel cap.
The cap I'm currently running is very basic with just a simple rubber seal and a very small breathing hole, but that breathing hole tends to leak fuel when I have a full tank and I'll turn around corners on winding roads.

I'm in the process of repairing a leaking fuel sender.
It was leaking from the soldierd joint so that's been re soldered. I was lucky enough to be able to remove and reuse the original press on clip that holds the sender wire post in place. Unfortunately now it's leaking from the rubber seal that's seals the fuel sender Post.
Hey there guys thanks for letting me join your special little community! I look forward to gaining some knowledge from this place, as I'm fairly new to the the old holdens, so please bear with me if i don't always know what you are talking about. :)
Looking at spraying under the ute and all the little nooks and crannys i can get to with fish oil.. Can someone suggest a brand of fish oil that dries well and one that dont stink like a barrel of burley...thanks

Hi guys , I want to build up a hot 253, want to stroke it, 310 or 330, want it to rev above 7000,will be running in a one tonner, just wondering if anyone here has done it , where did you source parts, what was end result, thanks
Just wondering if anyone has tips or recommendations on how best to polish up some "tired" alloys - in particular WB Caprice alloys. So far I've tried Silvo and a generic metal polish by hand - with minimal results - interested in what others may have done with good results. A typ rim attached and some polished ones - would be happy with something in between - thanks

Hi All ,well after stripping my upper tailgate and finding the rust had been badly repaired, and is pritty much gone so I've made the decision to make a fiberglass one .When I striped the handle on the tailgate was funky and looked out of place!! reason the handle was a garage door jobby!! so I'm looking for an proper one .I'm coming over to Byron Bay at Easter ,So can pickup Byron to Brisbane .
Any help would be great .
81 WB Caprice - interested in views on what one of these is worth ? Interior good, windows very slow, radio, cruise and central locking not working. Not working A/C. Engine and trans overhauled many years ago - std blue 308 T350 - runs alright, quite a few oil leaks esp around valley cover. Suspension and steering seem ok. Brakes - pedal a bit low and spongy.
