Gday im having a hard time finding a salisbury diff for uc torana, my question is can i just take a hj or hz salisbury centre out and put in the uc diff they should be same size hey?thanks

hi all this is my uc up for sale is all complete now back together and is registered just needs a few things done for a rw asking $5000 without a rw or around $5500 with a rw depending on time.

Howdy, I have two questions. where can I find a public weigh bridge in WESTERN SYDNEY for my V8 conversion in the UC to keep the engineer happy? What is the outside diameter of the rear uni in a v8 ten bolt?

Hi Guys,
Have a UC body shell that has a few good panels that I'm partingout. Its had the lhr quater and rear floor cutout so if anyones after a roof cut, front guards, bonnet, boot lid cheap let me know. Car is located in Moss Vale NSW.

I am looking at buying new mags for my HT Premier, to replace the Centerlines i currently have fitted. Most wheels i have looked at have several sizes of backspace.

I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to measure what backspace i need? Or can i measure the backspace of the current wheels and that will tell me what i need?

hey all im thinking about selling my uc sunbird sedan. has been sanded back and resprayed not to bare metal though all rust has been cut and plated has a 202 motor with a stage 3 yella terra head looks like a 186 head as it has bigger spark plugs a mild cam and extractors with a 4 speed holden box it was resprayed the factory caribean turquoise metallic has rego until the 05 month of 2012 could possibly get it up to rw standard for a little bit extra ive spent at least $8000 to get it all to where it is now im looking for around $5000 without a roadworthy and around $5500 with a roadworthy and all work done its based in roma Queensland

Howdy all? well the 202 in my UC has packed it in & now I'm in process of collecting all the parts for a V8 conversion running on straight gas. Well anyway I found genuine H.E.I ignition from a Commy witch I plan on regrahping to suit gas & my ? is I currently use a XF Falcon (BOSCH MEC 718) H.E.I coil with my after market dizzy on the 202 would the same coil be suitable to use on the V8 thanks in advance.

Hey guys thanks the advice the other day. Sorry I did't reply with 12 hour days at the moment there is not much computer time. Anyway I need some more advice Im picking a trimatic pattern 308 next week & I want to rebuild it. So Im looking for a decent engine reconditioner in western Sydney & Im also after a decent after market electronic dizzy to suit straight gas. One last ? wants the diffence between a gas cam & std cam.

Help needed for a v8 conversion into a UC am Im right to assume that LH/LX exhaust will bolt on without any problems . Its a factory 6 with a trimatic & Im staying auto the v8 will stock so Im planning on rebuilding the std 10bolt will there any problems with the tail shaft & brakes any advice would be helpful thank you

Does anyone know where you can buy new stub axle castle nuts for the old holdens?
Do general auto stores sell them?

Also if anyone has a HR lowered 2 inches ...and pics in your shed can you post up a link?

I'm considering drop axles from Stubtech set up for commodore brakes.
They're pricey but I plan on lowering it (don't know how much yet) and want commodore brakes and they'll aid in both.

Alternatively is anyone selling a setup to fit commodore brakes to a HR, I think my HR has HT stubs.

hey all was just wondering how much would it cost to buy a 308 or 350 chev with around 300hp motor and bolt it in to a UC torana? how much modification would be needed for engine and crosmember mounts?? i can fit it all myself as im a mechanic its just the pricing and modifications for engine mounts i need to know

hi guys the boys are building a burnout car out of a uc torana hatchback that they have brought got a 202 turbo motor to go into it

any way the car is missing the hatch off it

so they are looking for a rusty old hatch to go on it with window preferred that they can bog up and put on it, just to keep it looking like a complete car
