What I have found

2 interesting vehicles close to where I live.
Both have been stored for about 3 years under cover, both are in pretty good condition and one is still registered with original plates.
I have no prices as yet,but they will be reasonable under the circumstances I think.
1.LH Torana SLR 5000 replica. metallic blue.

2. HJ (or are they HX ?) LE Monaro. Usual maroon metallic.Still registered.

Both have full fuel tanks to stop corrosion I am told.

Anyone interested ,please contact me via this forum.

Champion plug master

Some of you may remember that a while ago I broke the No.5 spark plug on the 253 in the UC & it cause me on end of grief & I ended taking the motor out to fix it.
We'll today I took the plugs out again to check them but this time I used this Champion Plug Master with a flexi head & bent handle.
It made the job much easier. You guys out there with v8 In LH's, LX's, & UC's would know what a pain No. 5 & 7 plugs are to change
Cheers Shane
P.S
I tapered the end of the plug socket so I could get better grip on the plug

WTB: Quadrajet metering rods

Hello Ladies and Gents,
I'm currently looking for some primary metering rods to suit a Quadrajet carby. I'm looking for some 48M rods though would consider 46M or 47M rods aswell, but they must be M series rods.
An obscure request, I know. Hopefully someone has a crate of parts kicking around the shed Very Happy

I would also consider secondary metering rods other than AN, CX, CH, DH, or DA as a way to broaden my collection.

WTB: Holden 6

Hi guys,

Chasing a few things.

1. a warm/hot Holden 6, preference for 186 however will look at others. Around the $1500 mark. In qld or northern nsw
2. reputable, well priced media blasters in Brisbane, someone who knows what their doing and wont warp the [Naughty Pottyword] out of panels.
3. a decent, well priced painter/panel beater or even a bloke who does a good job from home.

Need to get this HR off the ground and on the road.

email: brendon.moorfield@gm...

Cheers Guys

Valve Spring Compressor

Image:

This Youtube video shows a convenient way of compressing Valve Springs ...

http://www.youtube.c...

Can someone with a red/blue/black head they can access and a Steering Wheel Puller Kit as shown, check out the Yoke, leftmost component in the Photo, to see if this can be used to do the job.

If not, are any mods needed?

For 1ARC

I took some pics for you. It's a bit hard to see in some pics cause it's a little crowded with the compressor & idler pulley. We'll basically I have the clutch fan straight off the water pump (no spacer) with 70 mm clearance to a 3 core HQ radiator.
But with the HQ shroud it's a tight with only 5 to 10 mm of clearance at the top of shroud were it is closest to the tips of the blades.

Hello out there,I was wondering if anyone knows of a reputable differential / machine shop in Vict that cuts and resplines axles.I have a set of 1 ton axles that I believe can be cut and splined to suit a torana banjo, so I can fit HQ brakes / wheels.

All help / suggestions welcomed.

Thanks.
