Hi guys,I just had a set of VN style heads modified for my stroked 383 in the SLR 5000. After 9 months of rebuilding everthing else I got a bit excited and threw them on with the manifolds etc and put the motor in.Time came to adjust the solid lifters and I realised, I had not filed away in the brain, which was the inlet / exhaust valves.I have looked at the manifold and extractors and presume the No 1 cylinder front is a exhaust vale and so on,and No 2 front is a inlet etc.I am happy to be made look dumb,just want it to be right.

Look mum, 20's dofit on a Torana

Hey guy's.
Still trying to figure out if my block is an L34.
One thing I have noticed other than the block having the two extra head bolts before they were mainstream, is that the main bearing bolts are larger than other V8's.
Does anybody know if this were the case?
Jus t a recap, the block has been decked so the number is gone, it is dated 74, has the casting for the chain tensioner, but not fitted, and as stated has the extra 2 head bolt holes before they were normally used???

hey i was just about to do a rebuild on my four speed and we found afunny wire that we dont no wat its does its place under 3rd and 4th gear and its not a torana four speed its from the wreckers and they thought it mite of been from a commodore

comes with bellhousing,(i think the clutch & pressure plate is their to but have to look.. all so 1 red 202 block striped down no work done to it just striped and all so 1 blue 3.3 engine hasnt been pulled a part just bought it to take crank and rods out for the red 202..and a set of 40mm triple webers no linkages,and have diffrent jets...was going to bulid a hot 202 but need money $1100 ono need gone so make an offer

I am looking at buying new mags for my HT Premier, to replace the Centerlines i currently have fitted. Most wheels i have looked at have several sizes of backspace.

I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to measure what backspace i need? Or can i measure the backspace of the current wheels and that will tell me what i need?

Putting a 308 into an LH, can I use the factory HQ exhaust manifolds, or did toranas have a specific exhaust manifold.

40mm triple webers no linkages.. 2 have the same jets 1 is diffrent as the guy befor me did it and he was cleaning out his shed so i got them like that on a wanerford manifold can email or text pics if wanted

can a cyl bore be repaired ?

A guy I know has a 253 block where there is a small nick about 20mm
from the top of the bore, what would be the best option to fix this?

hi all ive been striping a 202 down too rebulid it and have been thinking of supercharging it what type of supercharger would be the best to use?? i would like around 350 rwhp what block would be best too use as i have a red 202 or a blue 3.3 block ?

recently picked up a lh torana and now chasing arround for a set of heads for the 308.

would prefer yella terra or l34.
would anyone have a set they would be willing to part with? will pay good money for good heads.

hi everyone i bought some rims for my LH torana last week and went to put them on my car and the stud patten is fine but i only have about half a wheel nut (5-7mm i think) so what can i do? can i get longer studs ?.. they came off a LX torana
