Can anyone shed some light or info on HB sl 4 door model torana,are these a common car.
And the worth on these if they are 100% rust free and ding free with what looks like the hk premier maroon interior with gold duco and white roof, all nasco flaps etc 4 speed manual. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I am looking at buying new mags for my HT Premier, to replace the Centerlines i currently have fitted. Most wheels i have looked at have several sizes of backspace.

I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to measure what backspace i need? Or can i measure the backspace of the current wheels and that will tell me what i need?

xmas shopping is finally done, just bought 20 different size battery and wrapped them for the kids, with a note saying.....toys not included.

Have for sale a good 202 block that is standard size bore, eng number QL827XXX (plus head) also a muncie 4 speed with bell housing (was behind a 253 and then a 202) Looking for offers before hitting evilbay. AL.

With Australia having a few different assembly lines how did they go about numbering the cars???
Lets say for instance a HK
Was their a number 1 built hk...
number 1 built ht
number 1 built hg

Then number 1 ute
Monaro
Sedan
Wagon

or did they just number them as they came through one after the other???
Then was it different for each assembly line??
number 1 hk Adelaide built
number 1 hk Melbourne built

Does anyone know where you can buy new stub axle castle nuts for the old holdens?
Do general auto stores sell them?

Also if anyone has a HR lowered 2 inches ...and pics in your shed can you post up a link?

I'm considering drop axles from Stubtech set up for commodore brakes.
They're pricey but I plan on lowering it (don't know how much yet) and want commodore brakes and they'll aid in both.

Alternatively is anyone selling a setup to fit commodore brakes to a HR, I think my HR has HT stubs.

Just want to extend the invite to my services. I'm trying to get a little money together to get my car back on the road, and seeing as I am a locksmith, I thought why not do some Old Holden Locksmithing in my spare time. I can do old Ford and Chrysler and even newer Holden and Ford if any one is interested as well.

Everything from basic rekeying or locks to fully rebuilding ignitions. I can do almost all of the old Holden range, ignitions, doors, boots, glove box the lot! I use only genuine Holden key codes and the best after-market parts you can get. IV got quite a few spares so finding replacement stuff is never normally a problem.

Today I had a look at a heap of NOS Holden (also some early Bedford, Ford, Toyota etc) parts. There is a fair few parts but in a big mess. Some Holden parts are still in original packaging, but many are not. When did Holden change packaging from the Yellow/Black boxes to blue/white and then red/white. May help to work out what is what. The owner wants to sell in a bulk lot - is there any real value in NOS from VB commodore to VS commodore? Thanks.

Just wondering what product people use to shine up the chrome on there beloved vehicles? e.g. bumpers, trim etc.
I used autosol when I reasmbled the car, but I am after a "spray on then wipe off" sort of product that i can use after i have washed her, or after a run.
