How soft are the rims on Simmons wheels? If I get the tyre taken off would I be able to hit this dent out with a rubber mallet without cracking the aluminium? Is this a job for a wheel repairer or is a new outer rim needed?

I am looking at buying new mags for my HT Premier, to replace the Centerlines i currently have fitted. Most wheels i have looked at have several sizes of backspace.

I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to measure what backspace i need? Or can i measure the backspace of the current wheels and that will tell me what i need?

Does anyone know where you can buy new stub axle castle nuts for the old holdens?
Do general auto stores sell them?

Also if anyone has a HR lowered 2 inches ...and pics in your shed can you post up a link?

I'm considering drop axles from Stubtech set up for commodore brakes.
They're pricey but I plan on lowering it (don't know how much yet) and want commodore brakes and they'll aid in both.

Alternatively is anyone selling a setup to fit commodore brakes to a HR, I think my HR has HT stubs.

Hi all,

I'm changing my VB to a manual so i need a manual pedal box. As far as i'm aware the pedal boxes from VB,C,H,K will all fit. Not sure about the VL ones. Could someone clarify if they all fit. Also does it matter if its out of a V8 or 6cyl? And They are cable clutch setup arent they?

Does anybody have one for sale in Sydney? Needs to be in good working order as i just want to buy it and put it staight in. If so reply on here with a price and location.

Just want to extend the invite to my services. I'm trying to get a little money together to get my car back on the road, and seeing as I am a locksmith, I thought why not do some Old Holden Locksmithing in my spare time. I can do old Ford and Chrysler and even newer Holden and Ford if any one is interested as well.

Everything from basic rekeying or locks to fully rebuilding ignitions. I can do almost all of the old Holden range, ignitions, doors, boots, glove box the lot! I use only genuine Holden key codes and the best after-market parts you can get. IV got quite a few spares so finding replacement stuff is never normally a problem.

Hi, I have an HZ 1 tonner with a 3.3 blue motor(standard) and I have been told that a weber 32/36 is a good mod. I have one from an old falcon xc, is there any extra jetting required or other mods, please. Thanks folks
