Can anybody tell me if the rear cover strip at the rear window down near the boot is the same on a coupe and a sedan.
If they are does anybody have one they could sell me I am not after the chrome strip it self just the cover part

hey fellas,
I was driving home from work and I'm guessing the water pump bearing failed causing it and the fan to explode into the rad. Damage includes all pulleys,timing belt slipped off,balancer,radiator and the obvious of course. My question is would there be any internal damage at all, I'm guessing there would be chunks of metal from the pump where the pump is on the block.The car ran for another 10 meters as I was mid corner and to get the the side of the road to avoid traffic. My concerns are for the internals versus the list above.

Hi guys,
Can anyone explain to me the correct way to adjust the timing with these gears. I don’t understand why there are why there are one set of marks on the inside of the crank gear and a different set on the outside.

Hi i have a 1974 Statesman Deville , it has the 308 and 3spd tri matic. The engine and trans were removed and thats how i got it. The engine and trans have now been re installed but i have no idea where the cooler lines go and was hoping someone would have a detailed diagram?
Any help would be much appreciated , Thanks..

Is it still possible to get rebuild kits for the brake master cylinders , only need the rubber seals mine is leaking from the back
its a PBR p6615 out of my HQ one tonner
or is it easier just to buy one of the after market ones on eBay

I've just installed a 350 chev and TH400 into my 71 HQ Monaro (was 202 & Trimatic) and I purchased a factory cable-operated T Bar shifter to suit the factory console and a new cable from Rare Spares, the shifter fits perfect to the floor and lines up with the console but the cable appears to be too long and extends way past the selector shaft making me doubt it would ever work, the second issue I have is locating a selector lever plate and cable mounting bracket to suit this setup.

Minister for Regional Transport and Roads Paul Toole said 50,000 cars had participated in the log book scheme during its trial period.

Hello i have a hq premier with 202 red motor. It has a 350 holley on it atm but i also have a single barrel stromberg set to xu1 specs from a torana with the same engine. Just wondering about pros and v cons between the 2.

Hi Guys,
Im looking to do a hydraulic clutch conversion when i put the supra box in my HQ.
Ive got a CRS belhousing, and was looking at geting the CRS hydraulic clutch kit as well.
My concern is ive seen a few posts on various forums that say they arent a good fit etc.
Has anyone fitted one recently? Have they improved the design in any way?

Hi.
I've read the post in the Holdenapeadia and am aware that the front windie glass is unique to HQ. My questions are: will HJ+ glass and mechanisms fit into a HQ door; and second, will HQ glass fit into HJ+ mechanism?
Any advice is appreciated.

Okay due to the fact that my door and quarter glasses are scratched I have decided to replace them with new. I have spoke to a couple of guys in Queensland 2 different businesses one of them to tells me that the HQ two-door has 2 different door glasses is this true also is there anywhere else that I could buy them in New South Wales any help would be appreciated
