iv primed the oil system and set the timing. How do i Prime the cooling system????

anything else i have to do???

does anybody know if these wheels where really a dealer option?
and can I asume they will fit a HG ute or would a ute have some different clearance to the other models?
I think I can make out CHEVIOT and 14 x 7 on one of the rims

I know this has been covered a million times before. But comp wont work on the search function for some reason.
Ive got to pick up a HG ute. All i need to do is drag it up my tilt tray, and then roll it off at its new "home" -

It doesnt have any wheels on it at the moment.
Can i use commodore stock rims (pursuities)or any early holden wheel? 14" off VN commodore or off a HQ etc???

Literally will only be travelling 20m all up. so it not going to be a speed issue lol - Just dont want to skull drag it up on my truck... Thats never fun.

for sale project HG panel van...interior has been sanded back and painted, body is pretty straight not much rust...i think only 3 rust in whole car. doors, tail boot, bonnet, guards, are perfect nick. has everything go with it for complete. has 202 not running..has front monaro disk brakes...any questions just ask.

Hi All. Just a quick question. I'm after a column auto nuetral starter switch for my beloved HG and I was wondering if the powerglide switch is the same as a trimatic one as there is a powerglide switch on ebay. Or if anyone has a switch they would like to sell i'm chasing one as well as a drivers armrest in sandalwood and two electric window motors, one for each side. Cheers.

after a year of trouble with the ram power assisted steering on my hg brougham (it was too light)
& no one knowing how to work on it...I ended up buying a new ram from holdenmanrestomotive@gmail.com for $314.00 delivered. My husband replaced it quite easily, all he had to do was purchase a tie-rod remover from super cheap auto for around $30.00. Problem solved.
It drives brilliant. Hope this info can help some one else..

I'm in need of a pair of HQ rotors redrilled to early holden pattern...Has anyone here had it done ? Who, Where, how much'n stuff ?
Preferably..Can they be bought already redrilled from anywhere ?

Last question, I often see DBA getting a bad wrap (dunno why), anyone better that sell blanks ?

Brake pedal became hard and i could not depress pedal with a loss of about 95%. Disc brakes on front , drums rear, they were workn fine , stopped at a mates house for 5 mins and whilst driving off noticed the above problem with a fully loaded panelvan. Ive checked rear drums and they appear ok...cracked dust boots is all i can c, master cyl appears ok...fluid good,no leaks...

Would anyone have any idea what the prob could be.....any help is appreciated....now ill have a look at the front discs.

Just wanted thoughts on what i just did, to avoid removal of my lower wishbones to press new ball joints i slightly and neatly oversized the the holes
with a barrel grinder and madeshift pressed them with the slight assistance off a lump hammer and large socket. Question being will they hang in there it wont be driven much more of a monthly Sunday drive car. Again thanks for any feedback. Jonesy

So I accidently hit a pothole on the way home from work this avo.. Only a little one but when I drove up the driveway I hear a big clunk. I had a quick look underneath and noticed the shock is dangling loosely below the wishbone!!!! I didnt investigate much more cos it was pissing down rain but I'll be havin a good tinker tomorrow. It looks like the 2 bolts that go through the lower mounting pin have either snapped or loosened off. Anyone know the size of these 2 bolts? Or any advice if ya think I've got it wrong?

Does anybody know if HK/T/G ever came with any flashlines?
I cant recall ever seeing anything flasher than a chrome stip on them.

I'm looking at replacing the indicator switch and bearing on my HG. Has anyone had any experience with the switch Rare Spares are selling? I'm interested to know if they seem like a quality unit?

Hey guys I still have this HZ salisbury diff for sale.
It has has the sadle mounts for a HK,T,G
Was under the bum of my HK Premier with 350 sbc, th350.
Never had any dramas with the diff just put a 9 inch under because I had one laying around plus im looking at upping the rwhp a bit.
Diff is complete drum to drum but when I was removing it the brake line broke as it had been on the car for a fair while. Non LSD.
It also comes with wheel nuts and I have the tailshaft to suit as well.
