I am looking at buying new mags for my HT Premier, to replace the Centerlines i currently have fitted. Most wheels i have looked at have several sizes of backspace.

I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to measure what backspace i need? Or can i measure the backspace of the current wheels and that will tell me what i need?

Does anyone know where you can buy new stub axle castle nuts for the old holdens?
Do general auto stores sell them?

Also if anyone has a HR lowered 2 inches ...and pics in your shed can you post up a link?

I'm considering drop axles from Stubtech set up for commodore brakes.
They're pricey but I plan on lowering it (don't know how much yet) and want commodore brakes and they'll aid in both.

Alternatively is anyone selling a setup to fit commodore brakes to a HR, I think my HR has HT stubs.

It was a perfect day for the inaugural run for the combined Old Holden clubs in SA. A large selection of models from FX through to HZ showed up.

Started at Tea Tree Plaza, then through Mount Torrens, to Mount Pleasant then to Angaston, Tanunda, Lyndoch, then finished up at Clonlea Park at Gawler, where the photo was taken. This is just a fraction of the number and it was great to see so many turn up.

Should be even bigger and better next year!

Just want to extend the invite to my services. I'm trying to get a little money together to get my car back on the road, and seeing as I am a locksmith, I thought why not do some Old Holden Locksmithing in my spare time. I can do old Ford and Chrysler and even newer Holden and Ford if any one is interested as well.

Everything from basic rekeying or locks to fully rebuilding ignitions. I can do almost all of the old Holden range, ignitions, doors, boots, glove box the lot! I use only genuine Holden key codes and the best after-market parts you can get. IV got quite a few spares so finding replacement stuff is never normally a problem.

IM in Brisbane and am happy to have things sent to me from where ever

An even Cooler Holden than my Crewman is this FE thats severly Chopped, sectioned and channeled. Build time? Several decades. Builder? Horopito weather.
You see if Holdens are left out in the snow they simple turn themselves into way cool sleds!

Could someone with a Grey Motor Holden perform these steps for me?

1. Are the Rocker Arms visible with the Oil Filler Cap removed (as they are on red/blue/black Engines)?

2. If so, would you set Piston 1 to TDC on the Firing Stroke?

3. Remove the Oil Filler Cap and sight the Rocker Arms.

What positions do they hold (which is open, which is closed, both) and with which Cylinders are they associated?

I'd like to write this up as a method for Spark Timing without needing the removal of a Spark Plug or the Rocker Cover.

I’m chasing a few items for an FE Holden.

Looking for FE horn ring in v.good condition (FE is the full circle ring)

Also new wiper pivot gaskets (rubbers).

Also after good condition interior scuff plates.

Also seeking one chrome front indicator housing unit and plastic lens, wiring etc.

Also seeking chrome side mouldings/strips for front quarter and door panels (both sides).

Any help with these parts greatly appreciated.
