Anyone know if a corvette power steering control valve overhaul kit will work in a HK/T/G

Gday all,
A very simple question to some but i need to know if a 3 speed manual gearbox mount will be the same as a 6cyl power glide i would have a look but the power glide is buried deep in stuff.The mount that is currently on the 3 speed is shot but i remember the glides being near new or at least very very good.

Any man and his dog has been able to sell me an Idler Arm Support Bracket - the component that bolts to the left side chassis rail - and I have a new one ready to fit.

What I REALLY need is the Idler Arm itself - with sort of male and female ends - that is linked to the Support Bracket and the left end of the Drag Link respectively.
Mine is totally flogged and the steering is increasingly dodgy.

Problem is, I can't find one ANYWHERE!

Do any OldHoldeners here know who might make, sell &/or rebuild such a thing?

Afternoon all!

I noticed recently, that when wearing polarised sunnies in my car, there is a patchy, blue coloured visual affect across the screen. I'm presuming the screen is laminated but pretty old - I've not replaced during my 8 years of ownership.

I guess that polarised lenses are all the same, but does this patchy effect apply to ALL laminated screens?

Are new, or certain types of laminated screens free of this problem?

Could be handy to have this sussed if I this current screen needs replacement down the track...

Just noticed on ebay steering box for sale with fast ratio, question is I've tried to find the stamp on my own couple and spares i have but can't find any markings apart from the build date. Were only the fast geared ones stamped or are they all stamped and if so where a bouts.

Hey guys I still have this HZ salisbury diff for sale.
It has has the sadle mounts for a HK,T,G
Was under the bum of my HK Premier with 350 sbc, th350.
Never had any dramas with the diff just put a 9 inch under because I had one laying around plus im looking at upping the rwhp a bit.
Diff is complete drum to drum but when I was removing it the brake line broke as it had been on the car for a fair while. Non LSD.
It also comes with wheel nuts and I have the tailshaft to suit as well.

I'm wanting to upgrade the bench seat in my HK panelvan with an HQ sedan bench seat. does anyone know if they are interchangeable ? Will the HQ seat fit into the HK and what mod's if any will I need to look at ?

I am basically looking to replace the internals of a power steering pump (e.g. - rotor, cam ring and pump vanes) and was looking to source them from another pump at the wreckers or off eGay to save some coin.

The pump in question is the Saginaw type from a HK - casting 5698119 (see link below).

I am not fussed about the reservoir, imperial/metric threads, pulley, pump shaft or brackets, as I will not be requiring them.... just the pump internals. I have seen some pics and video clips on the net from different Holden/Ford pumps and the internals look the same; therefore, does anyone know which pumps I could salvage the internal parts from?

Holden - EH-HR, HQ-WB, VB-VN? etc.

its much wider and higher then a hq grile badge

i have a 9 inch in my hk project 355 full spool iam thinking this is overkill for my 360hp steet car .and thinking of going 10 bolt lsd .there was a guy on ebay doing these reco for hk in the gold coast area if anyone can tell me his number that would be great. iam in syd nsw thanks. sorry it was a borg warner diff conversion bloke on the gold coast not 10 bolt
