there is a 55 (?) FJ ute , i'd say very good condition, mechanically sound , rego'd on club plates , all matching numbers, little bit of rust, but i think it was refurbished in the 70's then again in the naughties.
a FJ sedan, has a performance motor ( haven't sussed it yet) but also has a standard motor with it ( not original) also on club plates
various parts, bonnets , guards etc
Also has a Fairlane, with the verical twin lights (ZA?) club rego

Hi all, happy new year to everyone. It's been a little while since I have been on here. Anyway enough of this, here goes....... I have come across a VX SS sedan for sale, has been listed for wrecking or donor car for hotrod type of project. Pretty much complete albeit damaged bonnet, passenger side fender, and missing front bumper. Anyways asking price is $4700, which I think is a pretty good buy, and will be a great way to get my fj ute project started. What are people's thoughts on price, and if I get it, any left over parts will be for sale once I have got what I need from it. It's currently in Vic, and will need transporting to Adelaide if sale goes ahead, might need help getting it here.

I am looking at buying new mags for my HT Premier, to replace the Centerlines i currently have fitted. Most wheels i have looked at have several sizes of backspace.

I was wondering if anybody could tell me how to measure what backspace i need? Or can i measure the backspace of the current wheels and that will tell me what i need?

just wondering who here has rebuilt the door hinges with the rare spare hinge kit (pin & bushes)?

I've removed the pins on one of my hinges and the bushes are brass - whereas the replacement ones are plastic (I think -havn't ordered them yet)

Also, anyone know how the bonnet hinges bolt - as far as washer etc.? I just used washers and the bolt kept tightening themselves when I opened and shut the bonnet....

Any help appreciated. Thanks
