PC14 Run N Done

Bugger...typed this all out and the damn computer had a hiccup so I have to type it all out again...

We had a good Cruise today.

Rob and his daughter, Belinda, brought their LC GTR along for the Meet N Greet part only as Rob had to work today. We appreciate the effort guys... :-)

The day started out cold, windy and mostly cloudy but brightened considerably as the day went on.

We had 9 cars on the Cruise with a couple of the regulars riding shotgun in other's cars.

The actual cruise was a pleasant run up the hills, past some nice houses, bush and wineries to Mundaring Weir.

The BBQ area at the Weir was almost deserted before our arrival and seemed to be protected from the wind by the Weir's wall...Beauty! :-))

A very good feed and yak was had by all.

PC14 Run N Done

run out of gas

hi guys this is a really silly question.i ran out of gas last night.straight gas v8 panel van.I have nothing to tow the bugger with...do racv or anyone offer a service to put gas in your car on the side of the highway..thanks guys and sorry for such a silly question

wat guage do i need?

can some1 please tell me wat guage i use with this l.p set-up.
it is gas optics and on the and on the cord u c coming out of it has 1 amp and i have others (spares) that have 1,2,3 and 4 amps. i have some guages but can get them to read the lpg amount

Gidday,just been hunting around in the shed and found a motor and gear box which I know nothing about think it may be Chrysler,I have got part numbers and was hoping you could help,on the block it says 215 but on the other side it says 304,number on block A3428403(under dizzy number 16K3)this motor is only missing carb,also the gear box-Borg Warner t.f.g,E5376,965846,A3538831 I cant work out the numbers so if you can help that would be great,Also have access to WB Panel Van 6 cl,intertior and running gear good ,body needs help,no dents sitting under tree for 2 years,it was just parked and l

auto gearboxes

How do you tell if a converter is damaged? I'm having heaps of trouble with my hz tonner, got hold of an auto box, don't know if its tri or hydro (very novice!) it all seems to fit in ok and goes to a degree, but slips and dosn't seem to shift down gears, also put torque converter on motor first, damage done? appreciate any help, Mick

whats best

i got 2 questions..whats the difference between the 4 speed aussie and munchi? which is better?.. and i have been given a water cooled manifold and X2 headers and a 186s carbie, is this a good combonation for a 179 for and eh?

carby setup on a 202

I am having trouble tuning up a 202 blue motor.It has a 350 holly (58 jets & a 6.0 power valve)cain manafold,extractors & a mild cam.
when I set the timing to about 4 to 6 tdc the car will run fine around town in light through to heavy acceleration but on the highway sitting on a 100 kph the motor will start pinging going up a hill under moderate power.When I retard the timing back to about 0 to 2 tdc the pinging on the highway stops but the engine will lose power and stall when in town.I have tryed 59 jets,adjusted the fuel mixture and tryed another distributor all to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions?
