Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience..

There was never a factory forced induction holden six to my knowledge ? ( nissan & v6, but not red/blue/black). The vk efi injection gave almost 'turbo' like performance though !(sarcasm definately intended !)

You could get a Strata 2a turbo kit fitted by Holden to your UC Torana, making it an SL/T. It was never a factory built thing though, you bought the car and it was either the dealer or Garrett (can't remember which one) that fitted the kit for you. It was factory sanctioned, so you still got to keep your factory warranty.

As for getting 350HP out of a Holden 6, you may find that a little hard without sinking thousands upon thousands of dollars into your motor, and even then it's going to be a dog on the street and will be likely to split the block at the drop of a hat.

Castlemaine Rod Shop used to do supercharger kits using a Toyota SC14 supercharger for Holden 6s - I;m not sure if they still make them. They were never an outright performance thing, they were more a cheap way to give your red 6 a bit more poke and keep driveability and possibly fuel economy. From memory you'd probably be looking at around 150HP with an SC14 supercharger.

In my opinion, the best way to get big power from a Holden 6 without spending too much and turning it into a dog of a car is to turbo it using a VK EFI manifold with bigger (high pressure) injectors, possibly a bigger throttle body, an aftermarket ECU and make up an exhaust manifold to suit. Don't forget you'll need a surge tank setup with high pressure pumps if you go this route.

Otherwise, I've seen 4/71 superchargers hanging off the side of Red 6s before too, not sure how much power you'd get out of them though and you can almost guarantee that they'd have a pretty low revving, lazy nature compared to the turbo motor.

Here's one to give you ideas of what's involved: http://www.turbo202....

Strata kits were from Garrett.A similar set up was offered in the vh commodore with a garrett turboed starfire four available from Holden affiliated CDT ( country dealer team ). They ran gemini's at Bathurst and were like a poor cousin to HDT .Still aftermarket though, not factory .A turboed starfire four, what were they thinking !!!!????.
