New Diff for VB

Hi,

I am going to change my diff in my VB to a VL Turbo Diff and have found one on that sais use your own axles.

http://www.ebay.com....

Would I be able to use the axles from my VB? and if I could would they be strong enough? Or could I just buy a standard VL diff and use the axles from that, but once again will they be strong enough. For now its got a worked 202 infront of it but half the reason i'm going for a VL turbo diff is because I know they are strong and I want to put a 355 in it later down the track.

Also I had a look under the car this afternoon as I was sussing out if I would be able to do the changeover myself. It looks fairly simple as long as you take your time. Am I being mistaken or is it not that harder precedure. And my lst question is can I use my standard tailshaft from my VB or will it not fit?

Any advice much appreciated.

Cheers
James

You will have to fit rear half of a vl tailshaft and vl turbo and vl v8 axles are 28 spline and are hard to come by and new billet items are expensive hope that helps mate

So I need a VL tailshaft, and I cant just use standard VL axles, i need VL turbo or VL v8 axles.

So basically I'm better off buying a complete VL turbo diff.

Pretty much be a easyer conversion if u get the disc brakes, calipers and handbrake cable also. And vl v8 diffs are same as vl turbo except they use 3.08 gears good luck mate
