Collapsible Steering Column

Is it possible to retain the original HR steering wheel and indicator stalk, and adapt a collapsible lower from an early model commodore?

HT/HG may be a possibility. Since they don't have the ignition on the column

From HT onward has collapsible column. HK is non-collapsible, but HT is collapsible.

Definitely is. I just had an EH column grafted to a VN bottom end at V6 Conversions
We used a VN intermediate shaft also....with some mods, this part depends what rack you are heading for.

Thanks for the feedback guys!
I just had a look at a VH column, and it seems as if it would be possible to re-spline the VH shaft to accept the HR wheel, then modify the honey pot to suit.
Brenno, I am ordering a V6 conversions rack tomorrow, so I will chat to Pat to see what he can do.
