youll have to belt out the tapered part in the stub axle,,the joint will come out by hand from the wishbone,,if its bolted in its been replaced before as they were rivetted from the factory.

WHAT? no gravy?

Gday
like Dave said you will have to belt it a bit to break the union of the taper ,there a few tools out there like a ball joint puller or seperating fork, just remember to protect the thread on the new one.

Jonny it should all pull together by the lock nut ,make sure every thing is clean, the four new small bolts should have spring washers on the nut side ,may be lock-tight and splitpin.
if ball joint is riveted just grind tops off and knock them through with a punch.
