weber accellerater cable set up

I have a weber 34 adm and adapter plate to suit my manifold.

all seems to be a pretty straightforward conversion, no nonsense carb i know where everthing has to go etc.

KWIK KWESTIONS: how do I set up a simple throttle cable and return spring?

there seenms to a bit of info on the carb and a few photos on the converson and all..

throttle cable bracket bolts onto where? return spring clips onto where? how do I bolt the cable to the throttle linkage on the carby?

NOTE: on the 34 ADM the throttle linkage must be pulled upward to accellerate which means the return spring must pull the opposite direction (downward). there doesnt appear to be anywhere to bolt such hardware without a crude looking bracket with heaps of bends and possisble weaknesses.

dazed and confused/where the f@%k am I??

I don't have a lot of interest in Webers myself because I think Strombergs are better for low end torque. That means changing to taller gearing to get good economy.

If you want to keep the original high-rev OH Diff though, Webers are an heralded option.

Holdenpaedia, they're the brakes Mate.

I did see the weber conversion pages. the 32/36 appears to be a complex set up; I was wondering if anyone had made their own SIMPLE cable setup and saved $$$. appears I might need to buy a purpose built weber throttle cable. I might see what I can find on an XE.
