VK EFI EGR Pipes and things Hey T can you advise

G'day T or or anybody who might know. Puting together a VK EFI Kit for my ute. Do you know who might sell replacement EGR pipes (between exhaust manifold and EFI Manifold), and also the Thermal vacuum switches on the head are broken off, any idea's on where to try for these? And tell me did you use the standard 6 cyl 2 core radiator or should I go V8 style.

Hi LMH,

1. EGR Pipe. These come up on EBay from time to time.

You don't need this to have the Engine run properly. There is also a 15 degree unit fitted to NSW models.

3. I use a 2 Core Radiator on my HZ without problems.

I find you can pick up the whole Inlet Manifold Setup on EBay for less than $100, Throttle Body and Injectors included.

Holdenpaedia, they're the brakes Mate.

if you are only using the head you do not have to use the pollution control. I left the pipe off blanked the hole and ground out the moulding on the inside to give better flow.

I don't know why he says it will not suit EFI VK. I think he is confusing the EFE Switch which was never fitted to the EFI VK not only because it wasn't used but because the Coolant Temperature Sensor was fitted into the same Hole.

Thanks Guys. I appreciate the advice. I know T your the VK EFI Guru. I've got a complete motor and manifolds, computer, airflow meter, loom and fuel pump. It's just the TVS's were broken off. It's going through engineering at some stage so I wanted to make sure it a least looks right. Mind you, I guess as long as it looks the part and runs well that's the main thing.
I've got a 3:36 Diff in it at the moment (being a tonner) but a switch to 3:08 might come. I know T your a fan of a tall diff. And YES it will be backed by a trimatic of course.
