Hi there to all hope somone can answere my question, we have almost finished restoring a hr special sedan to original specs , car was last registed 2001 & we are te second owners & quite proud , problem is rego papers from last rego state it is a 1965 model ? what tha i thourght hrs were released in april 1966 ? info on numbers as follows ( hr - 05967s ) trim ( 894 - e56 )paint ( 585 - 8592 ) top ( 585 - 9562 ) we know colour of exterior & also interior colour , just put them in incase it make a diference in identifying year model can someone put our minds at ease please many thanks clayton & kathryn .

Have you checked your steering box cover for a date?
If you're not sure what I mean, there's a date on the cover of your steering box. It's a couple of No's and letters....
It's pretty easy to desypher(sp?), if you're unsure, get back to us...
