GTS Guards

Hey Guys,

Just wanting opinions, do you reckon GTS guards are worth there asking price?

Would be to go onto a HZ Tonner, being on a tight budget, would take a bit to be able to afford a decent set.

So just wanna know, what you'se think, worth it or go without?

Go without for sure, the

Go without for sure, the cleaner look is starting to come popular these days. If you look at a number of show cars (even tonners like "toyton" etc) they dont use GTS guards anymore. Most GTS guards these days are guaranteed weld ins, the problem with that is you dont know who did the bog work, it could be by a pro and have small skim or by a backyarder and have a thick layer over the entire guard (this i have seen a few times)... Personally i wouldent wast the money unless there genuine, even then you will pay BIG money for genuine that isn't rusted our or full of dints.

gts guards

Might have mine for sale in the next few weeks, they're genuine.

gts guards

i put weld ins in mine and they turned out great. would i do it again if i built another tonner? yes for sure if i had a set already, but for the asking price of good guards i wouldn't, and would seriously think twice about all the extra work the welding in the guard caused.
if your on a tight budget dont worry about it. spend a bit extra on a set of straight rust free standard guards instead

Cheers, Daniel

you could always just buy the

you could always just buy the flutes from rare spares and get them welded in on a set of std guards ..
i think they look alright but wouldent spend the the money on genuine gts guards , i would just buy the flutes from rares and get them welded in std guards.

weld in's

weld in's look great providing you get it done properly, you cant even tell the difference unless you look from the inside. But in getting them done properly it will end up costing about as much as genuine ones anyway....

I dunno mate. I rekon save
