subs in hq
I have a HQ One Tonner ute I'm in the process of rebuilding. I would really like to get atleast one subwoofa in the car. I saw a red ute on ebay that had them (HJ) in a box under the dash on top of the tunnel. Does anyone know if this will fit in hq? I am using bucket seats in the car so could anything go under the seat? Or between? Any help very muchly appreciated. Would rather not cut up doors.
Thanks in advance, James.

very common in all utes to
very common in all utes to fit them behind the seat, its really your only option unless u modify the dash to fit one which ive seen once or twice, find a resonably slim line sub and make a box to suit
A tube type woofer set up
THANKS
A tube type woofer set up behind the seats would work nicely big bass from the tube too.
I would rip out the stereo and just listen to the V8 myself.
god i couldnt agree more

ute subs
depends on your space but i would recommed 1 or 2 bazooka tubes, most reputable sterio places would have a portable amp and be able to give you some sort of example in car before purchase. I had a 6.5 inch (BT6018) in a sedan it was ok, now in a landcruiser ute and sounds awesome 8) site is www.bazooka.com
Thanks for that guys.
