Geelong Holden Day - 6th of March

The Geelong holden day is comming up fast, 6th of march....The new venue is about 150 metre up from the old one,at the geelong race course, theres free stuff for the tin lids this year, and fletch will be there shooting videos for classic resto show, pinky will be there and krock our local radio station.
cost of cars to be judged - $20, display only $10
Public $5. Children under 12 Free.

I will be telling the cars were to park so give us a hoy hoy if you drive past, i will be in the oldholden cap.

Thats great, This sort of thing helps in the interwebs search engines and is pretty hard to get actually done, so listing people in it helps them in this area. This is one of the mountains I need to spend some weeks on...

Hey blissy, why the change in venue? Need more room?
Was there last year and it was great day. You guys did a great job orginizing the day. Was well worth the 3 hour drive from Portland to spend the day there. Will be ther again this year, even if the HT Prem is still not back together :-(

the new venue is right next door, and seems more car freindly, we have had the show grounds the same date every year and when we went to book for this one, they told us some one else has that date, so we gave them a bit of WTF that aint right, and on top of that they put the charge up.
The race course seems a good lay out and haeps of shade too for the cars.

Not car friendly at the moment - drove past yesterday and looks like they are ripping the track up.
The dust flying around in the wind was thick - not good for keeping a car clean. Let's hope they have it sorted by the 6th.

yea i seen that the other day when i was going past there was talk at a club metting about getting a water truck and wetting the ground the night befor or ont he day 2 help keep the dust down
