HZ front cowl

I have a HZ 1 tonner with the HQ front etc, and I changing the front and guards over to HZ style. The front Cowl Panel has some rust in it and I want to replace the whole piece. I have read that the 1 tonners have a different Cowl Panel and will of of the after market pieces for HZ fit straight in or is it best to leave it there and try and repair this section

HZ Cowl

The HJ - HZ tonners do have a unique (to those models) cowl as they mate the HQ bonnet to the HJ - HZ dash.

So, if you want to use a HJ - HZ sedan/wagon/ute/van/Stato front on your tonner, you simply replace the tonner cowl with the "normal" one...

Tonner cowl

Wouldn't it be the same as the HQ cowl, as it only has to go to the windscreen?

If you want to replace the

If you want to replace the entire thing right up to the dash then it will be different as the HJ-HZ all had standard HJ-HZ dashes but HQ fronts. So if you cut it off at the windscreen before the dash you can use whatever cowling you want. But it comes down to the front you want. If your putting a HQ front you might want a HQ crowl if HJ-HZ you might want a HJ-HZ cowling. But agian if you dont what the entire thing right up to the dash you can use any model cowling otherwise you would need a HJ-HZ to match the dash.
