FS: HQ GTS monaro

FS: HQ GTS monaro

Dear OldHolden friends,

I have spent hours trying to word this and typed half a novel so ill try again and keep it concise and to the point. Basically the car is up for sale (obviously!) but IS NOT a forced sale, however i would like to free up some cash and room to continue work on the other car purchased last year. There is 51 photos and a video below for reference.

Since buying the car in Feb 07, the following items have been replaced.
- New Generation sprint gas LPG
- Distributor rebuilt for LPG by ICE
- Radiator
- Water pump
- AU electric fans installed
- Rocker cover gaskets
- Transmission cable
- Speedo cable
- Battery
- Rebuilt diff, new gears, LSD clutch pack
- Axle bearings and seals
- Master cylinder
- Stereo rewired with new speakers
- New ignition switch and much wiring replaced
+ Other things i cant remember, spent around $7k

The coupe is a genuine GTS and all tags have not been removed. The car left the factory in Cyan blue and Herringbone trim with a 308, auto, 3.36, air-con and green tinted glass. The driveline now consists of a worked 304, T350, 9inch 3.0:1 LSD and runs Ford stud pattern front and rear.

There is some rust which I have photographed and can be viewed with the photobucket link below. The body is in sound condition but keep in mind this is a 36 year old car and is not perfect, the paint is around 20 years old and has been touched up in places. The trim is in very good condition however the carpet could be replaced.

The car is being sold less plates and registration and is located in Victoria.

If anyone is genuinely interested, feel free to call or email me to discuss the car and a price.

Ive been pretty happy with the sprint gas system since its been installed, starts fine and dont have stalling issues. If i was to have my time again though, i would look at gas research mainly for aesthetics. Ive also been told the sprint gas converters are fairly generic and suit anything from 2 - 7 litres so a more specific converter might be more efficient.
