HR Holden convertible

Hi all,

I'm hoping someone on here can help me out. I'm trying to track down a HR Holden convertible. The car was built by a non-profit organisation called Classic Holden, which operated in Elizabeth, SA in the late 1990s. Classic Holden was setup to work with teenage lads who were in the youth justice system and help them develop mechanical skills and find vocational pathways. The HR was their major project from 1998-1999, and was the grand prize in their fundraising raffle in 1999.

I don't know much about the mechanical specs, other than that it was originally a 4 door sedan, and it was modified into a 2 door convertible. I remember the colour was candy apple red, but that's about it. I don't think I have any photos either unfortunately.

I'll spare you all the story, but there are sentimental reasons why I'd like to track the car down. If it happened to be for sale I would certainly consider it, but I'd just be interested to know where it ended up more than anything else.

Any help would be appreciated.

There was one in a KFC add a few years back & that very same Topless red HR floats around S/W Sydney.
I would ask around the HD HR Facebook page's.
