Shed Insulation Experience

Hi guys, I dont get on here often these days, but thought i would get on and share my experience insulating my shed. I built the shed 18 months ago, and put a whirlybird and sisalation under the roof to insulate it. It was still unbearably hot in summer, 10 Degrees hotter inside the shed than outside. A few months ago i decided i wanted to improve it but didnt want to spend the earth, or have to remove the wall sheets to install it. I ended up purchasing "R0007" from http://shedinsulatio... and used the magnetic straps to install it. I did the 2 walls that get the afternoon sun. At a cost of about $350 i can say i am incredibly impressed, the shed is now only 2 degrees warmer that the outside temperature (even on 42 degrees days in direct sun) - which means ive dropped 8 degrees of the temperature for the money. I know a lot of you guys are on a budget like me so i thought you might be interested.

Happy 2019

And the price doesn't seem unreasonable.

I read about this a few weeks ago and wondered how effective it would be. Looks easy enough to install going by the videos on the site.

Well you can do it cheaper if you glued it on, remembering to leave that air gap, the metal strips are a substantial part of the cost, i didnt glue it up initially because i wasnt sure how good it was going to be, but if i did it again i would just liquid nails a stip every metre along the wall.
