hz door trim

gday all,

can any of you boys recommend a good quality vinyl
spray brand (that will really stick) so I can pretty-up these hz door trims?

everyone knows to get it done properly by a motor trimmer could cost me $1000.

lookn to save a penny.

bj

ps. I'm gonna (somewhow) fill in the old speaker holes which I'm not responsible for doing....

Do you just want rattle can paint, or have you got a spray gun and compressor. You can get the vinyal paint made up, colour matched or different colour if you like from a good auto paint supplier. I’ve done it a few times with great results. Colour matched some arm rests 15 years ago and still holding up. You wouldn’t know they were painted. Just did some door panels too.

Any good paint shop is the go, in either pressure pack or in a tin to go in a gun.
Prep is the key.

I did the leather seats in my FX with motospray vinyl spray about 7 yrs ago, as i wanted them grey not the brown they were, has stood up well, after a month long trip to victoria and back there was a couple of thin patches, but a simple touch up took care of that, only prep idid was a wipe over with thinners on a rag, light coats just enough to cover, not heavy so no build up etc, would do it again in a heart beat

I've used vinyl spray many many times.

I can assure you that VHT Vinyl dye is superior to other rattle cans, by a long shot.
