Hi I just brought a one tonner.Plate on cab shows HX. Chassis number starts with EHQ xxxx. Is this a HX?

HQ chassis with HX cab on it. Might have been pieced together or more likely it was an HQ with a rusty cab that got replaced.

Please use, Holdenpaedia will get the first box on the left side. Post any suggestions.

Tonners used HQ cabs up to and including HZ, so every chance it is original.
To the best of my knowledge, all had commercial fronts meaning large bumper and different grill to sedans/wagons.
They were changed later by owners when it was realized the fronts were walk off, meaning complete sedan/statesman etc fronts simply bolted on, with the only difference being the plenum in front of the windscreen, which was then bogged to suit the bonnet.
What dash does it have ?

The chassis has a HQ number stamped on it, the id plate on the cab is marked HX. Unless the id plates have been swapped around there is no way the cab is original to the chassis.

Did note the difference in plate to chassis but still curious as to what dash it has.
Nothing new for tonners and utes.
May not even be a tonner, may be a ute.
A pic would help.
