Am I correct in assuming that the inlet is the one at right angles on the top?
It isn't market.

not according to this pic with the flow marked on it - the inlet is at the bottom of your photo - fuel flows out the top

Thanks.
After looking at the pic and Ben's comment I took it out into the light and had a better look.
There is a hard to see arrow on the top outlet.

Old is good.

How good are our OH's. I reckon I could change one of these out in less than a minute. Cost, about $6.
In my last car, I couldnt even find the thing. I had to go on line to try and find it! Then go buy one for a ridiculuous price and stuff around pulling everything out just to get to it. What a pain in the ar$#.
Why do people have to complicate something that should be soooooo simple.

I did two recently on later model cars, what gets me is that some of the experts say they don’t need servicing and some say they do... go figure

I had a VE Calais V8 auto - did 220000ks in 4 years. Auto fluid was changed either 150 or 180k per the book. Fluid didn’t look that bad when the dealer dropped it and transmission (& car) ran perfect. Like you I thought too long for auto fluid change but I had to admit I was wrong
