rear shocks for lowered hj

I have a HJ GTS Monaro sedan which was lowered by the previous owner. The problem is that whenever it is put on a hoist the coils move out of their seats on the body of the car. I've measured the point at which coils start to get loose and I would need a shock with an extended length of 450mm.
I did put some slightly taller coils on the car but I still have a gap of about 25mm when the car is jacked up. I like the look of the car and would prefer not to go to standard height coils.
Does anyone know of a brand of shock I could buy. I've tried Pedders and they were unable to find a shock.

About 10 years ago I was in Geelong and had a NEW 4 pin lsd complet fitted to my HJ Prem, They asked me at the time about my springs and I said i wanted to lower it,
They lowered my Hole car 2"lower Pedders springs and matched up shocks for me And have no trouble at all
MY question is "are your springs cut to suit or are they propper lowered springs" ? This could be an issue for you ?

often the free height of original or cut original coils is longer than after market lower springs - it makes them easier to install - the actually height of the car being dictated by the spring stiffness rather than it's actual length...are the spring insulators fitted to the rear? I've got a WB with 40-50mm lowered king springs on the rear with standard shocks and it sits low and the springs remain sufficiently seated when the car raised...

lowering and raising suspensions (by not more than
one third of the original suspension travel in either
direction provided the vehicle ride height is not
increased or decreased by more than 50mm from the
manufacturer’s specification)
Goto a suspension mob and buy a 2 inch lowered set of springs and shocks? If the thing has to pass a rwc you need to retain 2/3 of the suspension travel.
