a Christmas tree as they say. What is that on the bonnet, a mirror... Is there more photos of this machine? This needs to go into Holdenpaedia with a list of the extras. Taken in the 80s?
Look at these side mirrors on the guards of this old attached photo. c1955.

Hey Rusty if you view it closer you can see he's got another rear view mirror on the back edge of the guard(angle of pic) and the old swan bonnet mascot,I thought that to until I looked closer. They are Wibroc fender and or Yankee tri bar mirrors, coool.I'm trying to get a good set(good luck with that) for my wagon but I have to get the adjustable base ones that swing outwards and back(cant open or close bonnet as on HK the fender top is to thin.Nah sorry haven't got any more pic atm because I lifted it off another forum but yeah is early 80s,don't know where but VIC plates?.I'll see what I can do though!...:)
The NZ member on here FC2525 I think he's sign in is had a pair of adjustable base ones that I need on his FC wagon,cooool...:)

Please use, Holdenpaedia will get the first box on the left side. Post any suggestions.
I see the Swan and mirror now. The other thing nearer the windscreen on the bonnet is a mystery too.
I found some empty boxes of the wrong Wibroc on ebay- https://www.ebay.com... - but really that link is to earn some money for oldholden as we need more ebay items shared here, wink :)

the way the moneys work is not like you mentioned so much. One click is all it needs and it puts a cookie on your machine. Then if you buy soon after OH gets a commission, so one click is enough....load cookies(links) on lots of members machines and maybe someone buys something. Lack of funds cripples us. Archiving History should be mainstream now.
So the best way to do this is to find good items that people want or like and let people go and have a look via the link. Ebay has some great stuff so this is not too hard. You want our Ads!
....Also later...as I have done the code...maybe..with some of the rare interesting items the details/photos will be lost over time so I have discussed this with ebay for us to preserve details and OH may get away with it a bit.
I need the manuals on CD too...
Maybe the thing on the bonnet is one of those coloured plastic wind deflectors but it looks more like a perfume bottle from here...

I gotcha I think, haha.I'm not real up with behind the scenes computer stuff:(.Yeah that's what I thought to like a crystal type perfume bottle or something like that?..
Rusty do you think it's a good idea to pass the hat around for members to make donations again, maybe this might ease the financial burden a bit for you,I don't mind donating as this is a good and fun site you provide and I'm sure other members will agree?...I will post it up if you like and leave it at the top of the front page?...

The hat thing has caused problems and is more costly at times. The industry makes a fortune out of us anyway and should be nicer.
If we can get a group helping with great links as discussed above then I have another Archiving task that I need group help with and I have been talking to T about. Industry loves to back this sort of stuff too.

Reconsidering the hat..... There are CDs that people have bought or could buy of manuals and parts manuals etc etc that I need to be copied and sent to me. I do have to stop mentioning this as I have seen a site pop up since...

Forget the group thing, that just happens, don't over think it as we are already doing it. Just like...
This CD is for early parts manual only but I have seen there is others that have the parts manual and original manual and more for $9.95 https://www.ebay.com...
I think people have bought these already, if we are lucky, and I just need a copy of the CD. I'd like the other Holden models too. This helps as I am not spending $10 for each one.

EDIT: here are some more. There maybe more versions, GMH Publications only. I am looking for the original GMH manuals only. Which I think these are but I have never bought them. I think I am on the right track.
