I did some research.

Mr Google knows everything.
It's actually Hornsby fire station on the Pacific Highway. About 10km up from Pymble.
If you go to google maps you will see Pretoria Parade. Pretoria Pd runs off the highway beside the Ampol garage.
This corner claimed a lot of trucks over the years until the freeway opened.
