Hi all i need help with my emission controls on stock vh blue 202. If anyone can tell me what i need to do to bypass/block off the emissions please so far ive blocked off the 2 big holes in the head with brass caps. What vacuum lines need to be blocked off elc?

those engines had a few systems and there is plenty of information on line available inc drawings. If you look up each system you will work out the best way to bypass. A couple of systems include the Air Pre Heat system, Early Fuel Evaporation System, Vacuum Advance Control System, Exhaust Gas Recirculation. I'd start with the VAC as it denies vacuum advance unless certain conditions are satisfied

Isn't bypassing the emissions illegal? Don't have an accident cause the insurance won't pay if they know.

if you change the std air cleaner or it doesn't have the heat stove pipe on it anymore (hardly any have them left)...then technically the system is not as it came out of the factory...there would be so many other reasons ahead of that for an insurer to deny cover...meeting the actual emission levels in the ADR would be what is most important ..what if you run on LPG?
