Leaf spring lowering 'reset vs brand new'

Hi all, brand new lowered leaf springs vs resetting, chasing people thoughts, ideas and experiences in relation to this, next job on my HG sedan. Cheers

its easy to reset springs to a flatter profile, its just a heap of work to pull the spring apart and belt the crap out of it with a sledgy. also you may need to go to a heavier rate spring if your lowering etc so buying a ready to go is my preference unless your broke and have plenty of time to have the car of the road

I would get your springs set becouse they can get the ride hight correct and then your not wasting your money on springs that are not right, thats what I've been advised to do
