Hot 173, is there such a thing?

I currently own a vc comm with the 173motor in it, the car is in near mint condition and I wood like to hot up the engine, not go balistic, just a little more poke, cruiser style... My old man, a mechanic of many years does nothing but bag the SH!t out of the 202 engine, in carburator and efi form (blue and black) is there sum truth in his madness, and how do I got bout getting more pwr from the 173. i hear that the crank from the 202 is lighter than the 173 and can be interchanged... More help needed Yall...

any help, much appreciated - Blade

5 diffs, and one celica 5 speed 2nd gear, thats the magical number that i decided to stop doing burnouts atleast until i got an auto or a better diff :) I tell ya what though, i blew up a salisbury and then welded the centre up .... best burnout i have ever done, i just wish i changed into second :) CIG lockers are the way to go :)

Sammy.
