Perth cruise 16 ( Traditional Swan Valley ) 20th of July!

Ok guys , how does sunday 22nd June grab you all?
I had a extesive conversation with Dave (Qute) last night & its an annual thing for us to do a swan valley run this time of year.
So as suggested by our main cruise organiser Dave ( from 3000kms away ), the route will be as follows.
We will meet at Garvey Park in Redcliffe 10am.
Cruise at 11am
Left onto GE H'way,
left at the Bypass onto GE H'way,
right into James St Guildford (at the pub),
left just past Alfred's Kitchen into the road that becomes West Swan Rd,
up to the Margaret River Chocolate Company and Oggie's Icecreamery, ( I think i will find a couple of different places to visit as we have been to these twice before )
Then back down West Swan Rd, right into Benara Rd and left into Lord St at the round-a-bout
follow lord st to the end at sandy beach on the river.
This used to be a good fishing spot years ago so bring ya river rod.
Can some one bring a footy or maybe a cricket set.
There are 3 bbq's there but only 1 table.
plenty of grassed area and play ground for the kids.

hey guys. 22nd sounds good for me but depending on consensus then im quite happy to make it for another weekend. the kinga is back on the road after a couple of big f**k ups. exhaust shagged itself, drivers side lower control arm bush just decided to collapse and then found out that the bushes on the rear end were completely rooted as well. *sighs* but all good now. got myself a new front sway bar as well. drives like a dream now.

Hey evil Z. not too sure yet. just waiting on some prices atm but am deciding between 2 types atm. the first ones are a wheel called showwheels streeters. my best mate has just put a set of 18x8's on his xy and they look mad. i dont really wanna get them cause ill have the same rims as him but they look that good im really considering it. other wise im looking at getting some cragars. just depending on how much they are. looking at going 17x8's, all round although id like to go 18's id have trouble cause my car is fairly low and without doing a bit of work to the guards, they probably wont fit.

Yeh mates, ive seen your hz on a few cruises, it is nice and low and would look mint with a nice set of 17s or 18s under it!
i used to drive the custom purple stepside one tonner. but give it a few months and my hz will be done cruising alongside yours.

hey mate. yeah i remember your car now. was a beast. you still got it? what type of HZ you got and whats it running? yeah i dont wanna go too bling so thinking 17's will be big enough. with my Z being as low as it is it poses lots of problems coming to speed humps and shyte. im hoping with the larger rims it will add a little more clearance at the bottom. just enough to give me a bit more lee-way. but yeah depending on what the bank says i really wanna do it soon and hopefully if this cruise is in about 4 weeks they should have arrived and be fitted. either way i need to do something about my rear tyres. there isnt much tread left as the v8 and rubber dont like each other that much. the donk tends to always win!! :P

cheers, nah mate the ute went last year. now im finnishing my rebuild on my first car. its a 78 hz kingswood sedan, used to run a 202, but ive built a nice 308 ready to slot in once ive painted it. ill have to start up a shed so you can check out some pictures.
thats the problem having it so low hey, but it just looks so good :P
im sure those tyres dont stand a chance! ive heard your beasty before! hahah
anyway i look forward to seeing what mags you go with.

and agree totally. pain in the ass having it sooo low but my god does it look good.
yeah old brown beasty sounds pretty good. not sure if you have heard it since i got the balance pipe put on. had to get rid of that flappy sound. really got annoying. sounds a bit deeper now.
yeah thinking of going across the road now to find out prices of the wheels. hopefully ill have em ready
