New Radiator for WB Staesman

Whats the best way of replacing a terminally leaking radiator these days? Recore or replace? Is the external size the same regardless of number of rows? What should I expect to pay? I live in the Manly area of Sydney. Thanks....Matt'

Matt, unless your tanks are screwed i think the cheapest option is to re-core the one you have, the cores don make them much bigger. i had a LH Torana 2 row re-cored and that was $170, i also got the same one re-cored with 3 rows, it was $270, the extra row is only really needed if your car runs to hot, also the WB radiator i believe is bigger and a different shape, so price may vary. but once its done, its basically a new radiator, usually with a few years warranty.

Thanks for your reply Sammy. I think prices may have come down for brand new radiators, as a Natra replacement 3-row was only $286 including GST. So it was a no-brainer in the end, as the tanks were not in the best shape either.

Thanks again ... Matt
