knocking/ clicking noise

ok i have a 1990 vn commodore i recently had my clutch replaced new bushes in the tail shaft and a good check over for engine noise etc over the past few days as ive come to an intersection changing down gears to slow down there wasnt a problem but as soon as i changed to first and put my clutch in it would make this sort of knocking/clicking noise it sounds like its coming from the engine, today it got worse as when i was idoling it was fine but as soon as i gave it a few reves it would make this noise again with the clutch out sitting in nuetrel so i thought ok ill let it cool down and see if it does it then, it was evan worse when it was cold i did it when it was idoling but only when the clutch was in! didnt matter if it was in gear or not it still did it i dont know wether to take it back to the garage where it was fixed or wether its just something simple i can do myself, thanks

THERE ARE TWO RUBBER BLOCK THAT PUSH INTO THE CLUTCH FORK, WHEN THEY WEAR OR NOT THERE THIS HAPPENS, BAD NEWS IS THE BOX HAS TO COME OUT TO FIT THEM, YOUR MECHANIC SHOULD HAVE REPLACED THESE WHEN HE DID THE JOB.
