WB Headlights

Hey all quick question. How do I adjust my headlights cause when i flick onto high beam the lights point up into the trees!!! Driving on low beam is all I got at the moment. So how do I go about fixing it?

Cheers,
Drew

Should be adjuster screws behind your lights (Under the bonnet) If you go look they should be quite easy to spot. Once you know where they are, Go down a quiet rural road at night and wind them in or out till things look better for you.

Please use, Holdenpaedia will get the first box on the left side. Post any suggestions.

As Dusty correctly stated, but sounds like the adjusting screws may not be located correctly if your high beam is pointing into the trees, before going driving find a brick wall and park on level ground to initially set them to a similar height.
Good Luck.

I'm right 98% of the time. Who cares about the other 3%.

Just to add to the other posts
There ate two adjustments one for vertical movement and another for horizontal movement. Move your vehicle to about 6-8 feet from any flat surface, like a garage door, turn the lights on and adjust to specifications. Use the flat surface to 'see' which way your adjustments are going. I usually put a towel over one so as to not let the other light take focas away from where the one im working on is going..
The drivers side light on low beam should point just a little to the left and down only a fraction so its not in the oncoming cars eyes.
hope it helps

Modified is horrified

WB's have plastic clips to connect the adjusting screws to the reflectors. The plastic deteriorates over time and the clips can break, allowing the the reflector to point where it likes. JB Camiras have similar headlight internals if you can't get WB ones.

Cheers, Jeff.
