The rear drivers side tyre i was taking off seems to have a nut that is free turning,(drum brakes).
Has anyone come by this problem?
How can i get the tyre/bolt off?
I know i can buy a new bolt but im buggered if i can get the tyre off.

use a drill with a sharp drill bit and drill out the bolt. Check that you can get the new bolt in and the old one out from the back too, you may need to pull more off.

I know this is an old post, but for others like me who run a search on trying to get a lug nut off when the bolt keeps spinning or turning:

Before drilling, belting or burning, try just putting outward pressure on the wheel while undoing the nut. Just pull at the bottom or top of the tyre while you or your other half gives the wheel brace a spin.
