** FOR SALE ** HQ PANEL VAN, WINDOWLESS, 350 CHEV LPG
Hi,
I'm selling my panel van - my girlfriend won't drive it and it doesn't quite fit with my career of a sustainable energy engineer (although it actually gets VERY good economy if you drive it right)
The car:
1973 Belmont HQ PANEL VAN, with I believe an HZ front
350 CHEV straight LPG, gas research
FORD toploader gearbox
10 months rego. Engineer's certificates.
LOCATION: BYRON BAY/BALLINA NSW
Seats are comfortable bucket-type seats from a skyline or similar
Pioneer mp3 cd player/kenwood speakers
The interior is very tidy but not immaculate. Dash crashpad is very cracked and needs replacing or a carpet cover.
Minor rustwork has been completed around sills behind the doors. Ever since I have owned the car I have kept it fish oiled. It's currently located near the beach, but i've only been living here for 4 or 5 months.
The car has a good solid old paint job underneath with a new coat over all exterior surfaces, so inside the doors etc it still shows the old. The car looks very nice.
It once has taken a bash in the side next to the gas filler where someone reversed into it, but that has been panelbeated and painted.
The engine, gearbox and diff all have very minor leaks that have been present the whole time I have owned it - have not been bad ever to warrant replacing seals.
I have owned the car for two years. I will try and take some more photos when it stops raining! although i recommend inspecting the car in person if you're nearby.
I'm asking $6500. if I can't get this then I'll work out a way to keep it because it's a great car. Please don't expect to bargain me down. much.
Alternatively if anyone wants to swap for an EH ute in similar condition i'd be interested.
