253 into hq

hi, i have a 253+tri from a hz wagon that i want to put into a hq 1 tonner to replace the tired 202+tri.should ihave any probs with the conversion or is it straight forward?

It is about the easiest conversion you can do...just so long as you have all the required bits from the donor car...mounts, G'box crossmember, V8 Tonner tailshaft (Tonner shafts are longer), front springs, alternator, starter, wiring, etc.

If you are in WA, you will have to put all the HZ pollution gear back on to be legal. In any case, check with your rego people and your insurance company BEFORE you change anything.
