The intake manifold destined for the tunna... yes polished just like that one, right off the local speedway champ's sprint car (its getting unbolted this weekend).
looks like a scoop maybe needed ? depending on how this carb adapter I made sits.

they are cheap crap made in china , get one of the better brand manifolds something that will compliment the heads

considering its off a sprintcar thats won most races its been in since putting this manifold on I doubt that very much.
maybe its a different brand I don't know but its a killer bit of gear thats for sure.

sprintcars run enderle fuel injection (constant flow) they do not run carbies...

spintcars have different class's ,the open class runs fuel injection.but they also run limited class's where they run iron blocks and carb's

All local classes run carbies, the BIG boys run efi.

Fully decked/machined block (4 bolt)
New crank, conrods, hi comp pistons (10.5:1 roughly), mild LPG grind cam, roller rockers, stud girdle, brodix alloy tall ported heads, power plus hurricane intake manifold, winged sump with trap door, romac balancer, alloy short water pump... few other bits n pieces I've forgoten.

Head specs are very simular to these: http://www.brodix.co...

but I cannot find the esact ones as these heads are 23% and has both standard and sprint car style extractor bolt holes and arn't bridged by a level blank piece as most are in the Brodix site. Will have to look into it more but both intake and exhaust ports have been ported out... to the point the manifold had to be modified to suite (had to go larger intake as the holley street dominator had 1mm of meet between the intake port of the head and the edge of the manifold !).

Hmm,
I'm just wondering how you will go with only a mild bottom end & yet a rather wild top set-up?
Big ports & high flowing manifolds etc are great on something that is intended to only use the high end of 7,500 rpm plus or is force fed. The reason being low velocity intake pressures.

I'd be interested to hear how it goes when finished to either confirm or rebuff this theory.

The bottom end I am told can handle 7500 rpm (he builds 8500rpm sprint car engines remember) so I am pretty sure its all upto the task.

Yea its going to be interesting to see how it runs on the street, on petrol it would run like a pig but lpg SHOULD run alright but we will see. It wasn't intended to be this wild but I'm not standing in its way ;)

Err-Danny,I think you mean M.F.I.(mechanical fuel injection) Haven't seen EFI on a sprinter yet!!
