Spigot bearing installation

Hi guys. Any good threads around on spigot bearing installation? I've just bought a new spigot bearing from Dellow to put into the vt motor crank to suit my supra box. I noticed the old spigot on the wb turbo block crank is different. The old spigot had a wide face and lip controlling the seating depth. I'm worried now the new one will be the wrong depth if i seat it flush.
I'm wondering if i may need to buy a different bush and how to install it correctly

Holdenpaedia, they're the brakes Mate.

If the original bush had a lip it may have been a locator for an automatic transmission or a purpose made spigot to suit the supra gearbox conversion.
Was the engine originally coupled to an automatic transmission?
Also don't forget that spigot bushes are made from sintered bronze and should be soaked in light oil overnight or have oil forced through them prior to installation.

Cheers, Mick.
