What are the best radials to fit to my FC station wagon ?
am running standard rim 6.40 x 13 4.5"
Appreciate what members reckon and that have served them well
Will be a bit of a show pony and not loaded up too much but she will carry the odd load
Or two.
Thanks

A 205 in a 60 series works out as a similar height but I think that will be too wide for the rim. Probably need to be looking at a 195 in a 65 series. Bear in mind your not going to have much choice as 13" tyres are now part of history.

I have a 6.4 x 13 as a spare in my HD & I did have 185/80 R13 whitewalls & they near spot on. They are just a tiny bit taller mm's that's it & being a 185 that's about 7.3" wide. These tyres are available in Maxxis (Chinese) I think & Sumitomo (Japanese) the latter is very nice & both tyres come with a 18mm wide whitewall on one side. These should be easierly obtain from any decent tyre shop for under $500 a set of 4

Most Maxxis tyres sold in Australian are made in thailand, tiawan and america. Very few are made in china (normally LT and motorbike tyres) and most of those are branded cheng shien (if thats how its spelt). But agree if you can find a suitable size Maxxis they seem well priced and of reasonable quality.
