It's a fairly simple job. You need to remove the steering wheel (obviously), and 3 screws hold the switch in. You can unplug the wires under the steering column and pull them through. You need to tie string or similar to the wires BEFORE pulling them out, so you have something to pull the new wires back through.
Oooor, do what I've done a few times. Just pull the switch apart, leave the wires in place, and just swap the switch over. Much easier.
Pictures [http://gallery.oldho...|here] will hopefully give you a better idea of what it looks like. Just remember where everything goes, and try not to lose any little springs.

Sorry about the late reply been busy with christmas and other stuff!! Had a closer look and your right switch needs replacing! I've already got a new one going to give it ago next week, so if I undo those 3 screws and wires the switch will come out?

Yeah pretty much. It's a tight, fiddly job. From memory you may need to undo the 2 bolts under the steering column and let it drop slightly, this'll give you a little more room.

But a far easier way is to to just pull the switch apart, like I've done [http://gallery.oldho...|here], and swap things over (that's if you bought a whole switch, not just the repair kit). Just don't lose anything.
Good luck...

If it is only the lever that is broken it is even easier.
Once the steering wheel is off you will see the screw that holds the lever on the right hand side of the switch. Just undo the screw and put the new lever on.
The hardest part will be getting the steering wheel off.

I've broken or fixed over half a dozen switches, I've yet to see a broken lever (but others may've had this happen). Sometimes the screw holding in the lever works loose, and the lever falls out. That's an even easier fix...just screw it back in.
Has the lever pulled out through the hole in the side of the column? If not, looks like it's a broken switch.
You can get [http://www.ebay.com....|repair switches], or pay an arm and a leg for a [http://www.ebay.com....|2nd hand] switch.

Feel free to ask if you need any more help, there's some good help on oldholden.

Be careful with the wheel removal, leave the nut on a little bit so the wheel does not fly off and hit your scone mate, that is if not using a puller. Yeah WA a bit too far as I have to be at work on Boxing Day, hang on I could fly over???
