Speedo driven gear

Model:

Fitted a 3.36 diff centre to HD wagon with standard manual 3 sp. box.
I need to change the speedo driven gear in g/box to get speedo reading right.

Does anyone know what gear I need? Is it the blue one (pictured)?

Anyone have one to sell?

thanks

Am I missing something here.

I have used the calculator on a number of occasions and in this case I come up with a blue 22 tooth gear.

Am I wrong yet again.

3.36 Diff
185x80x13 tyres
3 speed box with assuming white drive gear in the box

No your not wrong. The speedo will read 99kph's at 100 with the dark blue.
With the green cog the speedo will read 104.2 kph's at 100. So when you do 100kph's on you speedo you'll been traveling about 96/97 kph's so it give you some protection agance speeding fines

hey Rob, do you have the metal ring that goes beside the o-ring?

I bought a Rare's one and it works fine - but no little metal ring.

about 28 bucks rare spares bought one for my vk last week. apparently the white ones turn sort of pinky brown colour due to the transmission fluid.
holden don't carry them for the vk any more so probably won't have one for your car.
the one i bought did not have the rubber o ring or the spiral groove or the metal clip.
but was for a trimatic i guess yours could be different as manual.
